Summer Olympics-London or Rio? Swim Maggie Swim

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
H2O: two parts Heart and one part Obsession.

Swim Maggie Swim

Maggie went swimming last weekend. The water dog in her preferred the deck. She swam, but reluctantly. It was time to regroup if she was ever to attend the Summer Olympic trials for dog paddling. No problem. Like all great athletes need, we decided she needed better equipment besides the paw pads on her feet. We regrouped. We bought Maggie a high tech swimsuit. Now with her new swimsuit she had the ability to increase her speed while improving her performance. The swimsuit came in hot pink. Her favorite color. H2O (water) was the lifeline of her human siblings growing up. Surely the same held true for Maggie the water dog. During the years of her human siblings I went through many racing swimsuits. I had confidence that Maggie's new suit would give her the competitive edge too. Sometimes that's all it takes to break through to greatness: a feeling of two parts heart and one part obsession. This weekend Maggie's competence improved with her new suit. We might not make the London Summer Olympics, but who knows? Maybe Rio Summer 2016? The girl has heart and obsession.
