MaggieMoose: Innovation Girl

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower."

Twigs are everything for a moose, because they are the "eater of twigs"... When the twigs weren't plentiful in our yard Maggie went into innovation mode. She brought in the next best thing, a free floating root. She looked at me with that I can create my own bliss, I'm an innovator. It reminded me of our MaggieMooseTracks® books. They've become a cross-over book series for both kids & adults (yes, adults love Maggie's books too). In her book series, Maggie blazes an adventurous trail of life lessons in the most innovative way. Our books have full color illustrations throughout and they have B&W illustrations to color and pages to draw one's own creative artwork. Yes, it's encouraged to color & draw in the MaggieMooseTracks® keepsake book series. Maggie likes others to find their own bliss. After all, she's from the same area as the visionary Steve Jobs. It's only right there's a four pawed leader to create change in the literary world while doing some good for others. Twigs are great, but a creative root is good too. Who knows what leader will spring up?

All MaggieMooseTracks® books are available on Amazon.com, including our 1st book which is translated into Japanese.

MaggieMoose: Heartbeat Back In Time

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye."

It's #ThrowBackThursday. Maggie was the puppy I wasn't suppose to get. Long story... But, when I saw Maggie my heart spoke to me. Maggie affects others the same way too. Her heartbeat of love is not an island. It beats two ways; one beat for another and two beats magnetizing others toward her. Today's photo is of Maggie around 16 weeks old during a family gathering. Maggie was scooped up in love. Maggie's heart whispered back words of "Huggy you too". Timeless.

MaggieMoose: Winter Olympic GOLD

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts."

Maggie prepares for her Winter Olympic event: the Chew event. No, it's not the Curling event - it's just the Chew. She sits in concentration visualizing her Gold medal. Only through her sweat & determination and guts will she attain GOLD. We salute all the athletes at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. This one's for you! Hugs & Licks! WOOF WOOF

MaggieMoose: Raining Sunshine & Flowers & Twigs

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."

Our world has been under heavy dew drops. It has R-A-I-N-E-D for days. When the sunshine decided to sparkle its rays we went outside and soaked it up! We had one moment under the sun before the cloud cover returned. It was all we needed. A little freedom to look up and smile at the sunshine & flowers. Today's weather alerts are for heavy fog. Yes, we could barely see each other in the fog on our walk. We asked ourselves; this is California, right? Not London? Maggie's always the optimist rain or shine so, every day's a good day for her. Rain & wintry weather bring twigs a plenty. A big S-C-O-R-E  for a twig lover! After Maggie's morning walk she decided to burrow in for the remainder of winter to live life on a horizontal angle. Her sign is posted: Wakes up for twigs or sun. Flowers a bonus.

MaggieMoose: Yard Duty

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"The greatest pleasure I know is to do a good action by stealth and have it found out by accident."

Maggie - I see a twig in your mouth. Are you helping clean up the yard?

MaggieMoose: Feeling Royally Rich

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"He who is contented is rich."

Yesterday we finally had some rain. We decided to forget we're suppose to be in a "drought". We both went outside and got wet. Maggie romped in the leaves energized with every drop of rain. I got wet too as we both let the rain pour down on us. Maggie became a speeding bullet chasing the rain as she whizzed by me. Afterwards, we went inside and dried off. Both of us settled down ready to enjoy the raindrop sounds while we were warm & cozy indoors. Maggie wore her princess tiara and felt very royal. In the MaggieMooseTracks®
kingdom our greatest treasure is contentment. We are royally rich for it.
