MaggieMooseTracks and Beyond...

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable."
Helen Keller

We've traveled to many new places, had many new adventures and met many wonderful new friends & family!

MaggieMoose: Team Maggie

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion."

MaggieMoose: Heartbeat Back In Time

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye."

It's #ThrowBackThursday. Maggie was the puppy I wasn't suppose to get. Long story... But, when I saw Maggie my heart spoke to me. Maggie affects others the same way too. Her heartbeat of love is not an island. It beats two ways; one beat for another and two beats magnetizing others toward her. Today's photo is of Maggie around 16 weeks old during a family gathering. Maggie was scooped up in love. Maggie's heart whispered back words of "Huggy you too". Timeless.

MaggieMoose: Warm & Fuzzy Family Love

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there."

Maggie is feeling her warm and fuzzy best. In between having love and affection from family she caught up with some Zzzs as she slept next to our family members. They huddled together while they surfed online. We have family here this week for the weekend's upcoming college graduation event. CONGRATS Patrick on your Masters! WOOF WOOF! Maggie is over the moon with everyone here. While we celebrate this upcoming happy event we also take a moment to paws and celebrate another family member who in affectionate terms went 'over the rainbow bridge' this week. Aunt Donna Pat we loved and adored you. In spirit, we'll remember your smile and sweet laugh forever....

Meanwhile, back on the couch the surf fest continued as a new passage in life was unfolding. Apartment hunting online.... Grandma, Julie and UJ (Uncle John) looked at many apartments online; carpet, no-carpet, bay window, first floor, second floor, laundry facilities, no facilities, etc. I think their apartment hunting banter put Maggie to sleep. But, I could tell she loved having their arms around her before she curled up....

We close our post sending our blessings to our Texas tribe. We're with you in spirit as we remember your wife, your mother, your grandmother and so much more...loving Aunt Donna Pat we miss you. HUGS.

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"We find delight in the beauty and happiness of children that makes the heart too big for the body."

Blue Christmas without you....

Maggie and I are preparing for our family to arrive to celebrate the holidays together. Maggie fears two of her kindred pups might have a Blue Christmas without you! Cookie's last 2 pups named Luke & Lexie want to be home for Christmas. Let's keep the good thoughts & prayers that their forever, loving home will make their Christmas a specially blessed one.

Luke boy (born 10/26/11) ready for Xmas

Lexi girl  (born 10/26/11) ready for Xmas

Since Maggie's been on Santa's good list he brought her an early present of an Elk antler chew. Counting on her paws there's only 9 days left till Christmas.... Luke & Lexi are little Christmas cookies dreaming of being home for Christmas. Let's make it snow and mistletoe with Luke & Lexi presents under the tree....

HAVE A VERY MARI MAGGIE CHRISTMAS!
