MaggieMoose: Christmas Kindness

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"I don't think Christmas is necessarily about things. It's about being good to one another...it's about kindness."

Christmas is about being good to one another and sharing kindness. It's what Maggie and her human siblings were shown by example. It's a good way to be!
Right moose?

MaggieMoose: Wherever I Go - There He Is

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"If you want to do really important things in life and big things in life, you can't do anything by yourself. And your best teams are your friends and your siblings."

Maggie & Flint

There's a new kitty kat in the house named Huckleberrie Flint. He's called 'Flint' for short. Wherever Maggie goes, Flint goes. Sometimes Flint's really obnoxious like when Maggie is sleeping and Flint crashes right in front of her. Geez, little brothers who like to bug their big sisters. Other times the little dude is all fun & games running around the house playing chase together. Then there's a crash, boom, bang... Now what? Model citizen Maggie is beside herself gazing at the plant on the floor. What will Mum say?

Seeking peace and quiet Maggie goes into the MaggieMooseTracks® office and finds her bed. Two minutes later with peace interrupted little Flint boy plops on the pillow. MEOWZA! It's the little trouble maker again-good thing he's so cute. Maggie sighs and reflects on the important things in life; friends and family. She thinks the best part is when your friends are your family! Lucky Maggie & Flint share a legacy together by being part of the MaggieMooseTracks® book series (sells on Amazon.com). Flint sleeping on his rock in the sun and Maggie chasing butterflies.... see ya at dinner! WOOF WOOF MEOW

MaggieMooseTracks®: Book Brothers WOOF WOOF

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those we spent with a favorite book."

The two book brothers from Minnesota prove that looking good and feeling good is pawsable with Maggie's fictionalized adventures of Book 1 MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends. The siblings show that the book also looks great on the head! WOOF WOOF! Maggie loves football, kids and of course her adventures too! We wonder what the boys will be up to when they get a hold of Maggie's Book 2 MaggieMooseTracks® Christmas Star which is selling on Amazon.com! Maybe MaggieMooseTracks® on top of a snowman? Next to a moose? Going down a ski slope? Maggie's imagination is getting carried away! Maggie thinks others' imagination will get carried away too when they read the MaggieMooseTracks® book series. If you would like a shout out with your photo and a MaggieMooseTracks® book then take a photo and send it in to: WOOF@MaggieMooseTracks.com. Maggie will give you a WOOF WOOF shout out like the two book brothers! There's nothing like a favorite book...or two....or three...

Book 3 MaggieMooseTracks® Wolf Pack will be out Jan. 2014!

MaggieMoose: Maggiefish Sea Dreams

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions."

Maggiefish

I happened to be out shopping with Maggie's human sib Christy. We saw a clown fish Halloween costume for dogs (like Finding Nemo). It was perfect for Maggie since both her human twin sibs have fish names due to their love of the water. One is Christyfish and one is Juliefish. Now there's Maggiefish. She happily swam around the house in her fish costume. The fins caught her attention the most. She wasn't sure if they were for flying or swimming. Last year Maggie was a bumblebee and had wings. Maybe there's some connection here... Either way, Maggie knows that without her having an imagination to swim or fly; where would she go? Life is more fun to see what she might bee (buzz, buzz) or what waters she might swim in with her imagination to guide her....Splash.

MaggieMoose: Love's Blossom

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
Immature love says: 'I love you because I need you.' Mature love says 'I need you because I love you.'

Maggie's blurry puppy days

Maggie still has the same look in her eyes as she did when she was a puppy. I can tell the difference in her maturity since she passed the 2 year mark of her dog life. She's more settled in, not as frenetic as she was as a puppy. Today excitement continues to rein when she meets & greets people, but especially her human siblings. Nowadays instead of pulling out every toy to share with the human sibs she becomes their very own personal shadow. Where they go, she goes. If possible, she attaches herself to their hips. Lots of loving. Maggie needs them because she loves them. Love's blossom.

As Close As Hands And Feet

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.

Samson-Maggie's brother

Miles apart, Maggie's brother Samson carries on as if he's right here with her. Just like Maggie he's passionate about his tennis balls. His squeaky ball is blue while Maggie's is red. He has a pet too. A kitty cat. Maggie has turtles & parakeets. Maggie might watch her turtles and silently communicate, but just like a boy Samson likes a tumble or too. I can hear him saying as only a brother could "Here kitty kitty."
Samson & kitty

I know how it goes growing up with a brother. I have memories of being a human pretzel while my brother tried his new wrestle holds on me. Like a loving sister I gave my permission. If things got rough I'd call "MOM-DAD".... but, I wanted to be like my brother; athletic, strong and fearless. My brother taught me things only a brother can teach a sister. I thought him things only a sister can teach a brother. I envision if Maggie and Samson lived close by it might be English Springer Spaniel mania a muck  Enthusiasm meets enthusiasm. Maybe someday these two will play together. For now, Samson & Maggie are connected across the miles by the written word and photos. It's the same for my brother and me, like hands and feet we are as close as can be-miles apart.
Samson-blue squeaky ball

I think Maggie (like me) as a youngster would probably get her brother to do something 1st, then if the coast was clear-she'd try it. he he
