  Last night was a big night. After much delay for numerous reasons, we received our first shipment of MaggieMooseTracks® kid's dinnerware meal sets. We created the kid's plate, bowl & cup for kids to enjoy time with Maggie at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The illustrations on the dinnerware go with our Book 1 MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends. 

These fictional images are as lovable as Maggie is in real life. Maggie's love has given me the strength and courage to dare to create. Love is a powerful fuel. Our slogan living life full of moose size pawsabilities around the world came from my precious dog Maggie. We both know that what we create can change kids (or adults) lives for the better. There's no white noise in our MaggieMooseTracks® world, just sensitivity to what really matters; love of self and others. Although our MaggieMooseTracks® books are filled with colorful outdoor adventures, our books also provide a sense of calm and belonging. Maggie and I think kids want to enjoy some quiet time in a land full of imagination and creativity. At the end of last night Maggie looked at me with her soulful eyes. They peered into mine. I felt as if she told me it's simply called love. And yes Maggie, we are living a life full of moose size pawsabilities! And others can too! It's pawsable.

MaggieMoose: Universal Sky Dreams

  At the stop light we looked up at the sky. WOW! The sky was full of beautiful puffy clouds. Magnificent. I told Maggie it's a reminder the sky's the limit! As we went along we thought about how we had a dream to write a kid's book, but we wanted adults to enjoy it too-POOF! Our book MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends was written, published and is for sale on Amazon and at a local bookstore called East West. We wanted an interactive bookmark to go with our book. We envisioned a colorful glossy front and a matte back that kids or adults could color in a couple characters from the book; Maggie & Flint-and it was created.

I can't remember when, but Maggie and I entered photos of her in an online art gallery called See | Me. Then poof out of the sky we were invited to show a few of Maggie's photos in an International Art Exhibition in NYC (New York City, NY) that opens July 25, 2013. The exhibition runs through September 10th and is called The Story of the Creative. 

Meanwhile, our book MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends is getting translated into Japanese and due for release sometime in August 2013. MaggieMooseTracks® Book 2 of the book series  (a Christmas theme) is in the works for release in September 2013. We didn't stop there for we created our own global beach ball too! The sky really is friendly and the universe does really give the best to those who dream and work. Hugs & Licks! WOOF WOOF

  Maggie's dreaming of the impawsable dream.... It's in her nature, because she believes in moose size pawsabilities. She does her dreaming many times during the day or night. It's a reminder for me to reach for the unreachable star... the star of our 1st kid’s book (age 6 up) MaggieMooseTracks®© Making Friends being read worldwide by children, sharing its pawsitive message of love and moose size pawsabilities. 

Maggie's eyes barely opened as she looked at me like I was the holy paparazzi terror giving her grief. Maybe it was because I interrupted one of her ginormous impawable dreams she was dreaming? Reaching for the unreachable star of MaggieMooseTracks®© Making Friends? Hugs Maggie, it's Friday. Let's go live out some of our dreams while our artist finishes our book's illustrations.

MaggieMoose: Wishful Twigs & Thoughts

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:

  Maggie has a stellar mind. She sets her focus on something and badda badda boom it's done. Single minded purpose. I'm amazed at how quickly she snatches a leaf as we walk inside from the outdoors. In a nanosecond swoop-it's in her mouth incognito. Practicing this swoop over and over again has given her master skills. It doesn't stop there for Maggie. Twigs too. Right now we have the season of the multiplied twigs. One breeze here or there and the twigs are everywhere, including in our house.

Lately I have seen lots of wishbone shaped twigs. Is this a sign? I'm not sure if this has a higher meaning or not. Maybe Maggie wants to make a wish with me holding the other end of the twig? Kind of like how us humans use to do with the wishbone from the chicken or turkey. I remember as kids my brother and I were really into doing this wish making with the dried poultry bones. Serious business. Where did this tradition come from? No clue. We just believed in it, because we did it over and over again. Better yet, how does Maggie know about it? Well, Maggie drops the wishbone twig at her paws waiting for me to pick it up. What's the dominating thought here Maggie? Moose size pawsabilities? Whatever the answer, I'm game-let's make a wish Maggie! I still believe. WOOF WOOF

MaggieMoose: Four Paws & A Tail Wag Away

  Maggie is getting excited. She's four paws and a tail wag away from watching Who Let The Dogs Out on TV. Season 2 debuts Feb. 1st on the Hallmark Channel. No, Maggie isn't really a TV goer. In fact if the tube's on that's her clue to snooze. Paws run a muck besides me while I watch my favorite shows and she dreams of running to far off places. Tillman, the skateboarding Bulldog will be hosting the show. We love Tillman. He's a buff Bulldog with some super hot talent! He surfs too! Maggie's a California girl so, we're talking home turf talent. WOOF WOOF! What captured Maggie's attention to set her DVR for Who Let The Dogs Out is their first show will tell us about Lucca. She's the military dog honored for her courage in the 2013 Rose Bowl Parade. Maggie and I wrote about Lucca and those heroic military dogs in Roses For Canine Courage. Maggie's human sibling saw Lucca in the 2013 Rose Bowl parade. Her sib came home to tell us all about it. Amazing. So, the DVR is set. We'll be popping the popcorn with our fleece blanket cozy ready. Maggie's excited to see her kindred four pawed spirits on the tele. Lucca is proof in the joy of deeds well done-she lost a leg and saved human lives at the same time. Tillman is showing there's a place for pets and humans to see moose size pawsabilities in the world by sharing Lucca's story. True happiness does come from the joy of deeds well done. WOOF WOOF! Maggie promises to wake up when it's time to watch. SNIFF. SNIFF. Oops, I better guard that popcorn too! 

MaggieMoose: Purpose of Pawsabilities

  We were asked What is the purpose of your pet blog? Where do we begin? Let me count the freckles all over MaggieMoose.... This past year we have shared many purpose filled pawsabilities around the world. We've highlighted animals, nature and people. Sometimes serious and sometimes silly. Maggie and I believe in living life with moose size pawsabilities. It's pawsable. We wrote of the Lakota children in Soaring Spirits and Juri & her service dog Galvin in Free Bird "Because I Can". Sometimes our path was about family love like in MaggieMoose Grandma Love & Cookies. Maggie's Play Day said it all from her perspective. Who knows, maybe we're stitching a moose size quilt of pawsabiltites in global proportions? True to my girl's sweetness she remembers her fellow animal pals in MaggieMoose Update: Want love? Add Dog & Cat. It starts in our home with Maggie's turtles Timmy & Tui who Color Outside The Lines in pawsability living. We have decided to stick with love in our messaging in the pet blogging world. Maggie believes her humans' heartbeats count too.

Roses For Canine Courage

  Yesterday Maggie and I watched the 2013 Rose Bowl parade. Maggie became really excited when she saw the Natural Balance Pet Foods' 2013 Rose parade float called Canines For Courage. Her human sibling Julie at the parade sent us photos hot off the iPhone press. Everyday Maggie eats her Natural Balance dog food. YUM, YUM. More importantly, Maggie likes her fellow canines. Military working dogs who serve (and are serving) her country are the best of the best and the most courageous. They deserve a big MaggieMoose WOOF WOOF salute and more.... 

According to the broadcaster of the parade, the float is a floral replica of the Military Working Dog Teams National Monument. We agree with the sign on the float; Dogs For Defense Save Lives. 

                                                                               

One dog riding on the float was named Lucca. While on duty she lost a leg due to a roadside bomb. Maggie and I like that the military dogs are getting credit for their courage under fire. These are dogs with moose size pawsabilities! Ask Lucca..... the stories she could tell of resisting and mastering fear to define courage while protecting her humans.

Thousand Hand Quan Yin

  Maggie and I love art in all forms. We watched a YouTube video a friend sent us called Thousand Hand Quan Yin. We have never seen this dance before although it has been performed many, many times in over forty countries around the world. Its international debut was at the closing ceremony of the 2004 Paralympics in Athens. The music is beautiful, the movements exquisite, and the dancers magnificent. The Chinese Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe dancers are deaf mutes. They rely on hand signals from the people stationed around them. Maggie and I applaud with all our hands & paws the dancers who dwell in living a life of moose size pawsabilities. It is a beautiful thing to witness.

Miracle On Snowy Moose Lane

  MaggieMoose is all about the moose family since she's part moose and a connoisseur of twigs like her moose family. A dear friend sent us an email with some snowy moose photos. Woo Hoo! We were loving these images. A miracle indeed to see an albino moose in nature. The email stated these moose photos were taken north of the Wisconsin border near Marenisco, MI. No credit (that we could see) was given for the photographer, but we thank them whoever they are. WOOF! WOOF! 

Maggie appreciates other's uniqueness since she is precious herself. She loves to look through another's eyes and step into their hooves or paws. Maggie thinks it improves one's vision on life and shows all the pawsabilities! After all, Maggie is a little snowy and a little brown. Her coat has both colors. For me, Miss Maggie is my miracle as I look through her eyes to see what I have never seen before. Maggie recommends trying this, just for an instant, you might be surprised when two snowy moose show up! MaggieMoose calls it living with moose size pawsabilities! WOOF! WOOF!
