Today on social media
our feline friends told us
that it's Hug A Cat Day.
What the cat? True story. Well, we don't have any cats in our house thanks to
the human siblings being allergic to them. Bah humbug and all that, but love the
humans anyway. It's OK, we put a fictionalized cat in our new kid's book
called MaggieMooseTracks®© Making Friends. Flint is a
feral cat. He rocks. We introduce him in Chapter 2. Cats are mysterious
creatures. We think they like it that way. Flint the cat has more tricks up his
paws than his friend Maggie, the puppy with moose antlers, can imagine. We think
the whole cat mystic is really a color that cats wear, like in The
Emperor's New Clothes, it's
invisible. So, if you find a cat or have a cat it's HUG TIME! Does anyone know
if there's Hug A Dog Day? Maggie is twig & tennis ball ready for that hug!
