MaggieMoose: Christmas Love In Action

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Christmas, my child, is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas."

Maggie is never one for small talk, meaningless promises or unfulfilled pledges. She's all love in action. She gives and gives with her whole heart. She does a better job than some humans I've come across. As a parent, it's the lesson you want you own child or children to learn and put in action 365 days a year.  A mouthful of ball doesn't stop her from sharing her heart. Maggie lives in a No Excuses world-it's unconditional love always. Every delicious moment of her growing up I can count my blessings over and over. I know she is ever faithful and loyal through thick & thin. Fortunately, we've had a lot of the best. Maggie is Christmas 365 days a year. HO!HO! HO! WOOF! WOOF! Christmas love in action. It's pawsable.

MaggieMoose Grandma Love & Cookies

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"A family is a unit composed not only of children but of men, women, an occasional animal, and the common cold."

Grandma love

Maggie is a little quieter today. All our relatives left to go back to their homes. This morning when Maggie searched for our Christmas family visitors the rooms were empty. Grandma was pretty special to Maggie. She could always count on lots of attention and deep massages while laying close to her bountiful love. Maggie discovered grandmas are extra, super special even if you have four paws and fur. All that much more surface area for loving. Over Christmas we had everything; children, men, women, Maggie, the common cold and cookies. The Kleenex box was left out for those sniffing and coughing. It didn't bother us, because we were all together as one special family unit. Most of the time we were home bound due to the inclement weather of buckets of rain and lots of wind. UJ (Uncle John) spent time decorating the Christmas cookies. Very artsy. Maggie was a constant companion at his side.

She came up empty handed as she kept circling the table-no cookies for her. No worries. Through out the holiday Maggie had extra dog treats while we munched on fudge, ice cream, pies and Christmas cookies.

Between all the loving of relatives and great fun Maggie had, I think she's also a little worn out.  Her regular sleep cycle went on the back burner as she wanted to be in the center of attention at all times. We loved her antics and licks & hugs. UJ expressed our Christmas time together best-from one heart to another.... we shared love sniffling and munching the whole way through. Together.

Acorns Into Oaks

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"We find delight in the beauty and happiness of children that makes the heart too big for the body."
