MaggieMoose: I Pose Therefore I Am

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are."

My dear Maggie is such a good sport. I think wow her coloring really 'pops' against the beautiful green grass. I ask her to pose. She obliges. We carry on with our walk. I stop to photograph a pink flower. Maggie thinks I'm done with her since I've moved on to flowers...

I'm still thinking Maggie looks really good in the sunshine against that green grass. I ask her to pose again. While Maggie sits for me I snap the iPhone photo. I look at the photo I just took.

Really Maggie? I know it's bright, but eyes closed? Is this a hint we're done? She puts her head up as if to tease me with another pose. OK Maggie, snap, last shot. You are who you are. I thank you. It's been a privilege being with you as you are. Hugs.

Friends, Maggie & I have a request of you and we thank you in advance... Would you please subscribe to our webpage link located in the right top column on the homepage? It will help us make sure no one gets dropped off our blogs & news since migrating to our new website. WOOF WOOF

MaggieMoose: Blue Blood Moose Gene Pool

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are."

Little did I know a couple years ago when Maggie arrived that I got a two for one package. Part dog and part moose. As a puppy, Maggie didn't just have moose size paws, but she came with a a very active moose gene pool twirling about inside of her. This was the part of her that swirls and twirls for a moose size love off twigs. She lives for twigs. I could make a coffee table book of all the photos I've taken of her twig delicacies she's brought me. On my part, it's acceptance. I accept her for who she is, part dog and part moose. On Maggie's part, it's privilege. Privilege to be who she is in her lifetime. Everyday she reminds me of this moose side of her. I acknowledge and accept this fact when I take another camera shot of a different twig hanging out of her mouth. The day I discovered that the word moose meant twig eater I put aside the need for a DNA test to prove she's part moose. Anyone that can track twigs down like Maggie is a true blue blood twig royal. She agrees. WOOF WOOF

MaggieMoose: Sideways & Upside Down Bliss

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls."

Today is Wordless Wednesday. A nice break for Maggie and I from chatting it up. But.... Maggie always wants to get a few words in sideways or upside down ways. When I came home last night from getting meatball pizza with a friend my trusty girl Maggie was waiting. Maggie laid down next to me while we chatted up a few tweets on our Twitter handle (@MaggieMooseTrks). She was in sideways bliss. Me too. Then Maggie turned upside down. Blissed out for the whole universe. We are blessed anyway you look at it.
