Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
 "The supreme accomplishment is to blur the line between work and play."

  Life is a MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends book blur of pawsabilities. Maggie lays next to her 1st kid's book with the cover art of the puppy image of herself. She sniffs the flowers. MaggieMoose: A Circle Of Friends That Never Ends...

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
 ~~~~~~~~~~
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends.....
  I played for Maggie the song Colors of the Wind sung by Judy Kuhn from the classic Disney movie Pocahontas. It reminded us of our new children's book MaggieMooseTracks® MakingFriends (age 6 up) now on Kindle. (PS. Adults like it too!) In our book, we wanted to share the theme of appreciating individuality, nature, and that we are all connected in a circle of friendship that never ends. Our story tells of a fictionalized Maggie, a puppy with moose antlers, who meets some interesting animals and kids on her adventure to finding her own family. Maggie and I hope that our circle of friends will tell their circle of friends about our new book with its important messages. We've painted the beauty and wonder of the colors of friendship in our fully colored, illustrated chapter book.
The paperback edition of MaggieMooseTracks® MakingFriends will be available anytime from 2-3 hours or 5-7 days on Amazon.com. We'll post updates on our website when we have the link! Your reviews on Amazon.com will help make our 1st book a huge success. Would you please share the book news and write a review? We thank you in advance for helping us connect globally in friendship through our heartfelt, yet adventurous romp in MaggieMooseTracks® MakingFriends
MaggieMoose: EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!
Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
  Maggie and I woke up to an email from Amazon.com stating that the Kindle edition of our 1st children's book MaggieMooseTracks® MakingFriends is available on their website! OMD! (Oh My Dog in Twitter language.) We wanted to write a book (series) that children and adults can enjoy. We wanted stories that encouraged kids (or adults) to feel good about themselves no matter what they look like, how they act, or how different they feel from others. After all, living the life of a puppy with moose antlers isn't an everyday occurrence. Our feedback so far from our free preview of Chapter 1 posted on our www.MaggieMooseTracks.com website tells us we are spot on. Adults and children both love our book! Big WOOF WOOF from Maggie as she wiggles her bum.
The paperback edition will be available after the Amazon approval process which can take as little as 2-3 hours or 5-7 days from today. We'll keep you informed. WOOF! WOOF! Maggie asks if our readers would please help us out and WRITE REVIEWS? This will help the success of the book globally. We're also posting a free PDF version of our book on our www.MaggieMooseTracks.com website. MaggieMooseTracks® MakingFriends is the change we want to see in the world where every one is precious.
OMD, Maggie wants her bedtime story read now before her nap.....
ENJOY Maggie's tails, gotta go!
MaggieMoose: Beat The Drum For The Kids
Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"My wish...for all children...is to grow up wiser, and stronger and more prosperous for the future than ever before."
  Maggie and I are so proud of our 1st children's book MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends for kids age 6 up. It is getting published within our eyesight! Our book is to be published both on Kindle (also iBook) and paperback. This fictionalized adventure with Maggie as a puppy with moose antlers is for all the children around the world. The full color illustrations will astound and amaze. Maggie and I hope that its inspirational message of acceptance, courage and hope will fill their hearts (and adults) with love.
The seeds of wanting to help other children began many years ago when I discovered a charity called St. Joseph's Indian School for Lakota (Sioux) children in need. These children come from abusive situations and poverty. The school nourishes them through education and cultural preservation in a safe haven. I thought to myself that one day when I had the opportunity I wanted to give back in a bigger way than my humble donations throughout the years. Maggie's coming into my life sparked that desire into reality, because she's all about love of life and children. Her wiggle butt tells it all to those who adore her!
Right now Maggie and I want to beat the drum and shout out to the world that our children's book will put a song in the heart's of those that read it. Our dedication is to all the children around the world that they might grow up wiser and stronger and more prosperous in all ways that feed the soul and body. Beat the drum.... tell your friends of MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends. Sneak peek of the 1st chapter is free online at our www.MaggieMooseTracks.com website. WOOF! WOOF! Our book will be a free download in all ebook versions (Kindle, iBook, and PDF on our www.MaggieMooseTracks.com webpage).
PS. Coming soon: MaggieMooseTracks® Making Friends is getting translated
into Japanese and will be also translated into Spanish.
MaggieMoose: Bullet Train Choo Choo
Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy."
  Maggie and I were watching the first night of the Westminister Kennel Club dog show on television. We were really into it. The Toy breeds were on. Although Maggie's a Sporting dog, we have fond memories of our beloved 3 lb. Annie (Yorkshire Terrier) and our Scotty (Maltese). Our attention was glued to the tube. We got a text from Maggie's human sib Julie stating that she was on the bullet train. Great, no wait at the train station, a quick in and out. We should've known when we got the next text "one stop away" that it was too good to be true. We were at the train station in a bullet minute. The bullet train's minutes seemed like hours as we waited. Maggie kept looking out our Subbie car window. Patiently she waited as she scanned every human that walked by. Where was her human? After all, she had a Twitter pawty chat (#WKCdogs) going on back at home. And Maggie wanted to see JULIE!
Wouldn't cha know, the bullet was late for the train station! Me thinks bullet train means fast, minimal stops.... It looked like once again the old train pick up meant we needed to bring a Kindle to read the night away while we hurried and waited. Instead we broke out in song "She'll Be Coming Around The Mountain When She Comes.... Choo Choo!" Singing entertained us for awhile. Finally the 2nd trained stopped in front of us. We were hopeful. The train left again. Oh no, false alarm... then SURPRISE-there's JULIE! WOOF WOOF! Our life of what seemed like imposed servitude melted into joy. A very good feeling indeed seeing Julie's smile while Maggie wiggled her bum back and forth. All worth it! CHOO CHOO
