  Miss Maggie is the best girl, but sometimes the looks she gives me as her mum... like today. We're out walking in the sunshine on the wet sidewalk from last night's rain. As Maggie's mum I wanted a simple sunshine photo of her sweet face. I asked Maggie 'How about a selfie girl?' OMD (Oh My Dog) you'd think I asked her for the world! Miss Reluctant gives me the slight shoulder turn as she takes her selfie. It's Mothering Day or Mother's Day in the UK so, I asked Maggie for a little respect today, even if we're on the other side of the pond. Selfie done, we walked on in the sunshine. Birds chirped, the air was fresh and regardless of the selfie troubles, as her mum I enjoyed her sweet company. Happy Mother's Day to our friends across the pond! And for all mothers elsewhere we celebrate you too! WOOF WOOF

  It's been two days since the daylight savings time clock sprung forward. Maggie is herself whether she's in the dark or light of day. I felt like I had an out of body experience this morning when I stumbled in the dark and came upon Maggie. Her morning romp outside brought back in her favorite catch 'the twig'. If there's a 'catch of the day' twig available then consider it fished. Maggie's 100% comfortable with who she is round the clock, twig or no twig. Twig is best.

  This is Maggie's 2nd art exhibit in NYC. Maggie was in last year's  The Story of the Creative, an international art exhibit held in NYC. It was such a successful showing that our family on the East coast was turned away on opening night. They stood in line forever with many other patrons of art. The gallery filled beyond capacity in what seemed like nanoseconds...
