MaggieMoose: Breathe, Enjoy, Love

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love."

Good morning Maggie.

MaggieMoose: Harley - Puppy Love Chronicles

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking."

Maggie and I finished looking at the photos of the puppies from her breeder born on New Year's Day. There was Harley's photo in front of us. He reminded me of Maggie. On his cute young face was a serious look. What thought process was going on in his head? The look was so much like Maggie's as a puppy and adult. The other word that came to both our minds was intent. The concept of thoughts are things vibrated. What was little Harley manifesting for himself? Happy forever humans? Images of frolicking in the grass? Playing with his mates? I remember looking at Maggie's puppy photos. The same soulful and purposefully driven thoughts exuded from her cuteness.

Maggie puppy

I like to think Maggie chose to think her way into a happy life. Our past two years have been a riot of fun. Our fun is sandwiched in between poignant moments of reflection written all over Maggie's face. Proof captured in photos. Little Harley appears to have a good life in store for him. Whomever he ends up with will probably have a path like Maggie's; serious fun, because it's all in the way of thinking!

Nordstrom, Sephora and Feral Cats & Kittens

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
Each day provides its own gifts.

Maggie's gift to human sibling

Maggie enjoys her human sibling home from college after graduating. Her tennis balls are very precious to Maggie, but she decided to share the love. She put her tennis ball in the Sephora shopping bag right next to the Nordstrom bag and shoes by Sam Edelman. Now when it's time to put the make-up on maybe a few tennis ball throws will bring the gift of joy to both Maggie's sibling and herself. Maggie's generosity didn't stop there. She decided to donate to Mountain House Feral Cat Rescue too. Feral cats are everywhere. Unless people stop and decide to help out through giving time or money these feral cats will continue to multiple. Cats are trapped, neutered and released into foster homes or adopted by forever families. Some cats have greater needs such as increased veterinary costs due to their sickness. Volunteers or donations are always welcome. Check out their webpage or Facebook page: http://www.mountainhousecats.com/ . There are many cats and kittens waiting for a good home. Mountain House Feral Car Rescue wants people to be part of the solution and not the problem. Maggie likes this thinking. Her cat friends agree. Maggie likes giving gifts. It makes the world go round with a smile for you and me when each day provides its own gifts.

Foggy Wonderland

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"When you arise in the morning,
think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive -
to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." Marcus Aurelius

Walking with Maggie in the morning always contains the pearl of wonderment. We never know what we'll be part of as we venture out. The thick fog on this walk was like Carl Sandburg's cat paws standing there while it absorbed every surface.
In the darkest of the foggiest moments the light always comes back to shine.... It is indeed a precious privilege to be alive. Walking together with Maggie filled with love & enjoyment  while engulfed in the fog's splendor!
