MaggieMoose: Holy Ancient Rome! Where's Our Toga?

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Like a welcome summer rain, humor may suddenly cleanse and cool the earth, the air and you."

Maggie and I walked our usual morning walkabout. Our eyes caught sight of the local fire hydrant. Holy Ancient Rome! The fire hydrant was wearing a toga! I looked at Maggie and we both agreed we're not having enough fun if the fire hydrant goes to a toga party and we don't! Lately we've been working our bee-hinds off without enough fun hours in the mix. Although Italy has been on our minds... But, our @MaggieMooseTrks Twitter friends probably think we're MIA from Twittersphere. After all, girls gotta tweet! We either have to go toga shopping or just start wearing our sense of humor to lighten up. Maggie decided to sleep on it and wear her cozy bed instead while I work out the details. Thanks Maggie.

In hindsight, we don't feel so bad, because it looked like another fire hydrant didn't get the toga party memo either. Maybe this hydrant might need a cleansing summer rain full of humor to join in the fun party of life? Or start tweeting with some fun friends in Twittersphere... WOOF WOOF

Walking On Raindrops

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:
"Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby."

Maggie and I put on our raincoats and headed out into the rain. There's a song called "Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina & The Waves. Maggie's version is Walking On Raindrops.... woooahand don't it feel good? Oh boy, Maggie had some pep in her steps. The rain came down in abundance. At first Maggie was shaking her head as if to shake the drops off. Then she settled into just having a wet head. We continued on dodging plant debris while I carried my umbrella to try and keep my head dry.

We circled back towards home. Maggie's raincoat kept the top of her back from being totally soaked. Her head, underbelly and feet were soaked. It was wet out there and pouring liquid buckets of water. Maggie loved every wet step her big paws took. Her soaking ears were dripping water as she pranced along happy as a clam. Walking On Raindrops....woooahand don't it feel good? Maggie loves walking in and on the rain. Maybe she was dancing in the rain? I know Maggie's prancing and dancing showed me she felt alive! Rain has rewards for Maggie. She loves towels. This is an understatement. Fanatical about the towels is a better description.

She plopped on one towel while I took another towel to dry her off. She went crazy as she rolled around loving every scruffy body rub I gave her. Happy, happy, happy was Maggie right before she slumped in her cozy bed. Rain drop lullaby played in her ears. Walking On Raindrops.... woooahand don't it feel good?
