Making New Friends

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:

"Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold." 

  Maggie and I are traveling down a new path. Uncharted territory. We'll be leaving some friends behind as I'm sure we'll making some new friends ahead. It reminds me of the value of friendship. From my old Girl Scout days the simple, but powerful chant comes to mind about making new friends; one is silver and the other gold.... Friends are always with us in our hearts and minds. Some more powerful than others, and both precious like silver and gold. The second line of the chant goes ".... A circle is round, it has no end. That's how long, I will be your friend." As Maggie and I look ahead to new friends; we'll remember the old, because one is silver and the other gold.... 

Knotty situation

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:

  Life always hands us complicated situations like a rope filled with knots. Maggie knows that no matter how impossible a situation is if she throws her commitment over the fence, she's up for the challenge. This reminds me of a friend I had from long ago. His favorite saying was "...the rougher it is, the better I like it." A good credo for living. Maggie's pawsability philosophy tracks ahead with one simple solution: just begin. One knot at a time.....

Sunday Slow Down

Foggy Wonderland

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:

  Walking with Maggie in the morning always contains the pearl of wonderment. We never know what we'll be part of as we venture out. The thick fog on this walk was like Carl Sandburg's cat paws standing there while it absorbed every surface. 

  In the darkest of the foggiest moments the light always comes back to shine.... It is indeed a precious privilege to be alive. Walking together with Maggie filled with love & enjoyment  while engulfed in the fog's splendor!

Outdoor Magic

Maggie's pawsability thought for the day:

  At the end of yesterday Maggie and I took a walk together. Not unexpected, although I really didn't want to walk on this particular day. Maggie wanted to go outdoors, so we went. The weather had turned from sunshiny to cloudy, rain-like with gusty winds. The air had a wildness about it. We both felt super alive outdoors. Before I knew it we were running in the wind. It felt magical. Unexpected. Maggie and I were one with nature in its marvelous mania. Yes, Einstein "Everything is a miracle".

  Walt Disney's legacy is an inspiration. Since childhood his magic has encouraged me to believe in my dreams. Hello World! Great news! Magic happened last year on Dec. 5, 2011! Star (Mama dog) had a very special litter. Star's pups were born on Walt Disney's birthday; 12/05! Star is a beautiful English Springer Spaniel. Maggie and I are excited for someone special to capture the magic of dreams come true with a bundle of English Springer Spaniel puppy love!

Star: AKA Mama dog (Black & White)

  Two special pups are almost ready for someone lucky enough to bring some puppy magic into their lives. There's a boy puppy called Max who will be a wonderful addition into someone's life. Much like my Maggie blesses my world. He has a twinkle in his eyes straight from the heaven of dreams come true.

  A sweet girl named Tessie is all sugar & spice sparkling everywhere. She's waiting for someone to wish upon a star for their dreams to come true together with her. A little Star chip off of Mama dog in black & white whose beauty will glow brighter through time.... 

Tessie DOB 12/05/11 (Black & White)

  Maggie's and I are dreamers who like magic to happen everywhere. It is pawsable! We share our hopes and pawsabilities that only the very special will see these little Star chips and want their dreams to come true too.

Cha cha changes.....

  Lots of changes in the MaggieMooseTracks' household. 

  This past weekend Maggie celebrated her 1st birthday. She has changed from the fun and unsure of herself puppy into an adventurously confident dog. She's still the sweet companion she was last year, but this year she's changed into a beautiful young lady with a wonderful poise about her. 

  No mistaking she still has her youthful exuberance. Maggie is like people with "baby faces" as adults, I think this excitable trait will always be with her. Maggie and I are getting ready to launch the 2nd year of pawsabilities. We'll be changing things up by branching out into new horizons (details to be revealed soon). 

  

  Stay tuned for more MaggieMooseTracks' fun & folly to come as we cha cha change into the future. Reminiscent of the cha cha dance expressed a little differently, a new way of living life is good...ah, cha cha changes.... We feel the cha cha beat and we like the vibe. Maggie quacks up just thinking of the fun ahead!
